- Why do you want to leave your current company? (Never say bad things about your present company, say good things about the company you are being interviewed for.)

- What do you know about our company and the industry?

AS an Employee:
DO’s
- Always take a copy of your updated CV along
- Get the profile of the person you are going to meet.
- Understand from your consultant the objective of the interview; HR person
- will have a different objective as compared to a line manager. An HR person will look more from an organizational fitment point of view; the line manager will look more from the job perspective.
- Ensure that you present your self well in terms of grooming. The biggest
- Reason for rejection or that matter selection is grooming. Pay extra attention to grooming.
- Get details about the back ground of the company & the industry.
- Get a clear understanding of the Job Description from your consultant.
- Ensure adherence to time of the interview.
- Ensure that you have understood the venue of the interview. Get the address and the contact person details from the consultant in writing / email / SMS. It would be useful if you get mobile number of the client, a word of caution, you should use it only if very urgent, otherwise the time of the interview should not be disturbed.
- Remember that mobile phone should be on a switched off mode during the interview. Do not to take any calls during the interview.
- Always give a feedback after the interview to your consultant. This will help the consultant in preparing you for the subsequent interviews.

- Late for the interview without calling
- Failure to fill out the application properly
- Poor personal appearance
- Inability to express thoughts clearly poor diction or grammar
- Lack of interest and enthusiasm
- Lack of confidence, poise and maturity
- Over emphasis on money and benefits
- Criticism of past employers, associates, etc.
- Failure to ask questions about the position and the company
- Persistent attitude of "What can you do for Me?"
- Failure to ask for the job
